About Dr. Joe Fischer
About Dr. Joe Fischer
Hello, I'm Dr. Joe Fischer (my students and staff call me Dr. Joe, for short.) For the past 30 years I have served as a college and university administrator and faculty member.
During my career I have had the challenge and enjoyment of developing and implementing successful programs in almost every department or program present on the contemporary college campus, including 4-year public, 4-year private and community college campuses.
Over the years I have worked with many students and parents in a variety of situations, from helping to find and obtain the largest amount of college financial aid and scholarship aid possible; to teaching master study skills to help students become outstanding academic achievers; to assisting students to overcome their addictions or other destructive behaviors so they could stay in college an earn their degree or credential.
One of my friends recently referred to me as a "college insider". I guess that fits because I have a unique and in-depth understanding of how college systems work. I've learned the secrets and shorts-cuts to help students succeed in college, and to help their parents as well.
As you probably know, the process of obtaining a college degree or credential is NOT user friendly. It is complicated, confusing and frustrating for just about anyone who gets involved in it.
I developed CollegeZap!com to help you avoid the many pit-falls of the academic process. The FREE information available through CollegeZap!com will save you time and effort and help you succeed in all aspects of higher education.
I've listed a short resume of my experience and credentials below. I'm not trying to brag by doing so. Rather, I want to convince you of three things:
- I know what I'm doing.
- I've been doing it a long time.
- I have valuable information that will help you.
Thanks for visiting the CollegeZap!com one-stop, college resource center. Please come as often as you need.
Best Regards,

Dr. Joe
